Additional steel and reinforced suspension
We offer two types of steel suspension: auxiliary rear suspension and reinforced front suspension.
Rear auxiliary suspension adds an additional leaf spring to the existing leaf spring assembly or a coil spring between the leaf spring and the chassis. This means the vehicle sags less when the load is increased, providing a safer and more comfortable ride.
A reinforced front suspension replaces the factory coil spring with a stronger one, returning the vehicle to its factory ride height and allowing the shock absorber to work more efficiently, providing a safer and more comfortable ride.
Steel suspensions are available for most light commercial vehicles and motorhomes (conventional chassis) with all necessary type approval documentation.
Note: To quote for a reinforced front suspension, we require the actual axle loads of the vehicle in running order. The maximum permitted axle loads are not relevant as they may vary from the actual situation.
